Plots and Availability

Our site contains over 100 plots, including both full-sized and half-sized options. If you are considering to become a plot holder then contact the secretary to express your interest. You will be added to the waiting list.

All plot differ in size, terrain and soil health. This depends on the location of the plot and also how well it has been tended over the years. Some plots are close to the water taps - we have 3 on site. Some are shaded by trees.

Plot availability varies throughout the year. This can occur when plot holders choose to give up their plots or when they are evicted for neglecting their upkeep. We conduct an annual inspection to assess plot utilization. If a plot is deemed to be below a certain standard, the holder receives a notice requiring them to improve it. Failure to meet the standard will result in an eviction notice.

To ensure fairness and objectivity, plots are allocated based on their numerical identification, which is matched with the numerical order of names on our waiting list. Each person on the waiting list will be offered one plot. You have the choice to accept or decline the offer. However, declining the offer will result in your removal from the waiting list.
